About

For our fourth project at The Game Assembly, we were tasked with creating a 2D platformer game using The Game Assembly's in-house engine, TGE. The goal was to create a fun and engaging platformer experience with challenging levels and satisfying gameplay mechanics.

My Contribution

My primary contribution to this project was the implementation of the physics engine "Box2D," which was crucial for our game to have realistic and engaging physics mechanics. This involved working closely with the game designers to ensure that the physics engine was integrated seamlessly into the game and that it worked correctly with all of the other gameplay systems.

In addition to my work on the physics engine, I also spent a significant amount of time fixing various issues in The Game Assembly's in-house engine. This experience sparked my passion for game engines and inspired me to pursue further work in this field.

Overall, this project was a significant learning experience for me and helped me develop my skills in both game development and game engine architecture. It was an exciting challenge, and I'm proud of the contributions I made to the project.
